Make Your Community Project a Reality

Every community has a project waiting for the right push, whether it’s new equipment for the volunteer fire department, a playground upgrade, or a boost for the local school event that never quite has enough in the budget. BEK offers two ways to help make projects like that happen, and both close their doors on the same day: September 30, 2026.
Community Partnership Program
Think of the Community Partnership Program (CPP) as BEK investing directly back into the places we call home. Twice a year, once in spring, once in fall, CPP grants go toward projects that make a visible difference locally: school programs, community events, equipment for the volunteer organizations that keep small towns running. If an idea has been on your mind, this fall’s cycle is the one to catch.

RDFC Grant
The second option runs through a partner rather than BEK directly. The Rural Development Finance Corporation (RDFC) is a North Dakota nonprofit built to fund rural projects, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. As an RDFC member, BEK works to connect local organizations with this outside source of funding, money aimed squarely at improving services and infrastructure in the communities we serve.
