Investing in Places We Call Home
BEK Announces Spring Grant Recipients
June 2026
At BEK Communications Cooperative, we have always believed that a strong network means more than fast internet. It means strong schools, thriving community organizations, safe neighborhoods, and neighbors who look out for one another. That's the heart behind our Community Partnership Program, and this spring, we are proud to announce the organizations that are putting those values into action.
This year's spring Community Partnership Program grants are going to seven outstanding organizations across our region. Each one represents a community that is investing in itself, and BEK is honored to help make that possible.
Linton Senior Center is replacing worn chairs and tables, giving seniors a more comfortable and welcoming space to gather.
Wishek Public Schools is supporting the Missouri Children's Theatre production, covering materials, set, and costume supplies. The project gives students hands-on performance experience while bringing the whole community together for a memorable local event.
Kidder County Council on Aging is freshening up their facility with a fresh coat of paint in several rooms, creating a brighter, more inviting environment for the people they serve.
Maple Valley School is sending students to the VEX Robotics World Championship, an incredible opportunity for young learners to compete on a national stage and bring advanced skills back to their local program.
Tuttle Lions Club is upgrading playground equipment at the Tuttle city park, making the space safer and more accessible for children and families throughout the community.
Strasburg Fire Protection District is expanding their fire station with an addition that will provide dedicated space for equipment, safer truck access, and room for essential training.
Morton Mandan Public Library is establishing a brand-new learning studio by purchasing laptops, public-use computers, and an instructional display, expanding access to technology and digital skills training for community members of all ages, including adults and older learners.
Congratulations to each recipient. Your commitment to your communities inspires us, and we are proud to support your work. And thank you to all who applied.
