Community Partnership Program

Helping to meet the current and future needs of communities in our service areas.

Community Partnership Program Grants

BEK Communications Cooperative believes that supporting community projects and organizations in the communities throughout our service area is just common sense.

The BEK Board of Directors developed the Community Partnership Program (CPP) to provide support to individuals and organizations through a structured program designed to meet the current and future needs of BEK-served communities.

Program Guidelines

To be eligible for funding, organizations must meet several criteria: they must be tax-exempt, non-profit community organizations or groups, and must be located within the five-district Cooperative service area. Additionally, they must either subscribe to BEK voice or broadband services through BEK Fiber or have their registered mailing address as a member in the benefited district. Importantly, any funding received must directly benefit the communities within the BEK service territory.

Project Focus

  • Community-owned businesses (cafĂ©, grocery store, motel, other)
  • Community facilities (ambulance service, fire district, recreation, hospital/clinic, community or senior center, etc.)
  • Community-based or non-profit projects (school/youth projects, other) that benefit our community members.
