Notice: Spring Solar Outage May Briefly Affect Service
Brief Interruptions Possible Through March 8
March 2026
The first solar outage window of 2026 is here, and it may cause short, temporary interruptions to your EPIC IPTV service through March 8. These brief disruptions are part of a natural event and are completely normal.
During this time, you might notice:
- Pixelation or a fuzzy picture
- Short bursts of signal interference
- A brief loss of signal
This happens when the sun lines up directly behind the satellites that deliver your TV signal. When that alignment occurs, the sun’s energy can overpower the signal for a few minutes. These solar outages happen twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.
What you can expect:
- Most interruptions occur around midday
- Outages usually last between 5 and 15 minutes
- Your service will return on its own once the sun moves out of alignment
There’s nothing you need to do. If you notice a quick disruption, don’t worry, your service will be back shortly and your picture will return to normal. Thanks for your patience as we ride out this seasonal space-time hiccup!
